WHAT BASELAYER MEANS TO US

Baselayers – the very first layer directly next to the skin – transport sweat away from the body. The groundwork for the layering system is laid by choice of material and thickness. Depending on the activity, you can wear wool, which feels comfortable against the skin, while synthetic fibers are exceptionally light and wick sweat away from the body faster. They also dry very quickly, which makes them ideal for strenuous physical activities. Merino wool has superior climate-regulating properties, is odorless and ensures an optimal microclimate.
All our baselayers and shirts are designed with seams that do not chafe against the skin.
