Sustainable is what lasts a long time. Products that have to be replaced after just one or two years leave an ecological footprint that we would like to avoid. That's why we develop and construct our products so that they are robust and durable, offer lasting protection against wind, rain and cold and are easy to care for.

Nevertheless, it can happen that a seam comes undone, the crampons damage the material, a sharp-edged rock damages a down chamber or the functionality is restricted due to improper handling. To ensure that your BLACKYAK product remains in service for as long as possible, we continue to offer a repair service.

Our team of specialists repairs small and large damage to your BLACKYAK clothing. With the help of a wide variety of sewing machines, ironing stations, seam-bonding machines and other special devices, full functionality can be guaranteed again after the repair.

Repair Service

For repairs and the handling of potential warranty claims, our authorized and licensed GORE-TEX partner, the Outdoor Service Team (OST), is now available to assist you directly.

If you purchased your product online, please contact the Outdoor Service Team directly for any repair or service requests. Simply send a brief description of the damage, meaningful photos, and, if possible, your proof of purchase. You will then receive all further information directly from the Outdoor Service Team.

If you purchased your product from a retailer, please contact the respective retailer directly. In this case, the service process will continue to be handled through the retailer as before.

Processing usually takes between 2 and 5 weeks. During peak seasonal periods, processing times may be slightly longer. The Outdoor Service Team will provide you with information on the expected turnaround time for your individual case.

The Outdoor Service Team currently provides service for customers within the EU. For inquiries from outside the EU, please contact us at info@blackyak.de.
