Mission Live (EN): Tales from the Mountains - Jakob Urth
Jakob Urth, high‑altitude mountaineer, expedition leader and BLACKYAK athlete, speaks about life at great altitude, decision‑making on the edge and the stories hidden behind the summits. For more than 25 years, Jakob has been traveling the world’s mountains: as a guide, as an adventurer, and as a quiet observer of defining moments. In his talk “Tales from the Mountains”, he shares powerful expedition experiences, the weight of responsibility for others, the tension between personal goals and leading a team, and the difference between the digital image and true reality. An evening full of honest stories and fresh perspectives. Following the presentation, there will be an open Q&A and plenty of time for conversation, connection and a relaxed get-together with food & drinks at the BLACKYAK HQ.
