Functional vest designed to insulate the body core in cold temperatures without running the risk of overheating. The synthetic G-Loft® Evox padding remains effective after frequent washes and heavy use. The outer material is equipped with a DWR finish.

The LANGAR VEST is an insulation vest worn over a midlayer or base layer to keep the body core warm without overheating. The vest is lined with G-Loft® Evox, a super-lightweight synthetic insulation material with "memory effect" fibers that always return to their original and unique shape, providing thermal insulation and optimal heat regulation, even after repeated washing and heavy use. The vest's thermal performance is supported by the high collar and elastic cuffs on the sleeves. The outer material is made of durable polyester with a DWR finish. The side pockets remain accessible when wearing a backpack. Like the front zipper, they have extra-large, easy-grip YAK Zipper Pullers. The vest's fit can be adjusted with drawstrings placed inside the pockets. The shoulders are seamless to prevent chafing or pressure points when wearing a backpack.

Blackyak products are developed using a range of technical materials. To allow your garment to function perfectly it is essential that the material is clean and has been properly maintained. Dirt, oil, salt and other invasive elements will impair functions, such as breathability, insulation & water repellancy. We suggest that you care for your functional clothing by washing it regularly and by following our simple instructions. We will show you how to care for your BLACKYAK products so that they perform perfectly for you, when you need them to.

WASCHANLEITUNG

MERINO

Merino wool cools, warms, prevents strong odors, is soft and light. In addition, the care of the natural material is simple. In order to guarantee the longevity of the product, a few things should nevertheless be observed when washing.

3 IMPREGNATION GORE® WINDSTOPPER®: If water no longer beads off, re-impregnate. Permanently water repellent surfaces: Wash and rinse twice. Do not reimpregnate

This ensures that no rain can penetrate even during the next use.

1 DRY After air drying, tumble dry for 20 minutes. This reactivates the permanently water-repellent impregnation of the upper material.

2 IRONING Alternatively to the dryer, the impregnation can also be reactivated by ironing (warm, without steam). Place a cloth between the garment and the iron.

3 IMPREGNATION If the impregnation can no longer be activated by drying, it is advisable to apply a new impregnation.

DAUNE

In order to maintain the insulating effect of the down in a product, it should be washed regularly. Wet and clotted down lose their bulking power, and thus their ability to store warm air. If lumps of down can already be seen from the outside or if an unpleasant odor can be detected, the down product should be washed.

1 Das Produkt separat von anderer Wäsche mit 4 Daunenwaschbällen (alternativ Tennisbällen) in den Trockner geben

2 60 Minuten bei 60 °C trocknen

3 Mind. 1 Stunde auskühlen lassen und gelegentlich aufschütteln

4 Erneut für 60 Minuten trocknen

5 Produkt auskühlen lassen und im kalten Zustand auf Restfeuchtigkeit überprüfen

6 Gegebenenfalls erneuter Trocknungsdurchgang

SYNTHETISCHE ISOLATION

Every functional garment loses its performance through intensive use. Accordingly, garments should also be washed with synthetic insulation. The principle of regularity is as follows: as rarely as possible, as often as necessary. 1. Put your clean jacket on a hanger and close all zippers
