The YURINO Line is built for those days when you don’t want to think about whether you’re “too warm” or “too cold”. You just need your kit to work. It combines ultra-compact pack size, strong thermal performance, and alpine everyday usability in one clear concept: 800 cuin RDS down delivers maximum efficiency, while G-LOFT® zones take over where down reaches its limits in real use, under pressure, in damp conditions, or in high-wear areas.
Important: The YURINO Line consists of two products built on the same system logic, but designed for different use cases: the jacket for more protection and versatility, the vest for maximum efficiency and freedom of movement.
Hybrid insulation, built for real conditions
At its core is 800 cuin hydrophobic goose down (90/10), RDS-certified and NIKWAX®-treated, delivering high loft at minimal weight, with more stable performance when conditions turn wetter. To support this, G-LOFT® synthetic insulation is used exactly where pressure or moisture typically occur: on the jacket at the shoulders, lower arms/cuffs; on the vest mainly at the shoulders and collar. This keeps the warmth system stable even when you’re carrying a backpack, moving dynamically, or dealing with snow and moisture.
For the outer fabric, BLACKYAK uses lightweight CORDURA® ripstop with DWR, durable enough for alpine contact, yet light and packable enough to be a true always-carry piece.
YURINO Hooded Light Down Jacket – the versatile all-round top layer
The YURINO HOODED LIGHT DOWN JACKET is the full-feature solution for anyone who needs not only efficient warmth, but also weather-ready protection and clean system integration. At 323 g (11.4 oz) it stays intentionally lightweight, yet performs reliably on the mountain, as a midlayer under a shell or as a standalone insulation layer.
Technically, it’s built so it never gets “in the way”:
The seamless shoulder construction reduces friction points under backpack straps, while the stretch back panel and ergonomic patterning deliver freedom of movement, exactly where classic down jackets often start to feel restrictive.
The under-helmet compatible hood sits close and precise, with an elastic hood opening ideal when you need to seal in insulation in wind and cold without compromising vision or mobility. Handling is consistently alpine-focused: the YKK Vislon® front zip with anti-snag inside flap prevents fabric catching, and the YAK zipper puller remains easy to use even with gloves. Hem adjustment is integrated into the pockets, clean, functional, and without external clutter.
YURINO Light Down Vest – maximum efficiency, minimal bulk
The YURINO LIGHT DOWN VEST brings the same insulation concept into an even more efficient format: at 165 g (5.8 oz) it’s a true system piece you can carry almost all the time. The vest delivers targeted core warmth without adding sleeves and a hood. That makes it especially effective for activities where you’re working hard but still need warmth at the torso. Approaches, hut days, ski-touring transitions, cold early starts, or as a light outer layer in dry winter conditions.
In a layering system, its advantages are clear: more freedom of movement in the arms, faster temperature management, less volume under a shell with the same technical foundation. The G-LOFT® zones sit mainly at the shoulders and collar, exactly where backpack pressure and moisture exposure typically happen.
Detailing remains uncompromising: seamless shoulders, ergonomically shaped arm holes, backpack-compatible side pockets with zipper garage and Lycra mesh gusset, plus the same anti-snag front zip with YAK puller. The hem can also be adjusted via the pocket-integrated system. Minimal and functional.
Jacket or vest — which layer fits you best?
If you want a piece that works as a standalone insulated jacket and adds hood protection, the YURINO Hooded Jacket is your all-rounder, especially for changing conditions and longer breaks.
If you want something extremely light, perfectly system-compatible, and focused on core warmth, the YURINO Vest is the most efficient option, ideal for layering or as an always-carry insulation reserve.
The YURINO Line isn’t lifestyle down, it’s a technical warmth system: down for maximum efficiency, G-LOFT® for stability, CORDURA® ripstop for real-world durability. That’s how you build a layer that isn’t just warm but reliable when your mission demands it.
