Warmth Where It Is Needed
The front section features PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation with Cross Core™ Technology. The insulation incorporates aerogel particles, delivering a high level of warmth with low weight and reduced bulk.
Warmth is placed specifically where the body cools down fastest in wind and during rest phases. At the same time, the jacket remains lighter and more breathable in high-movement zones. The result is not a fully insulated jacket, but a functional hybrid system.
Hybrid Construction for Active Climate Management
During fast ascents and technical passages, warmth alone is not enough. That is why the NAGPURI uses a body-mapping construction with perforated areas at the back and under the arms.
These zones provide targeted ventilation and help release excess heat. Especially during high-intensity activity, this makes it much easier to maintain a balanced body climate.
The system is complemented by four-way stretch panels that give the jacket maximum freedom of movement. This is especially important on steep ascents, while climbing, and during dynamic movement.
CORDURA® for High-Wear Areas
Recycled CORDURA® is used in exposed areas. The material is known for its high resistance to abrasion and friction and reinforces the jacket where backpack straps, contact with rock, or equipment handling create the greatest strain.
The combination of durable outer zones, stretch materials, and perforated panels clearly reflects the technical approach of the NAGPURI: protection and durability where they are needed, and lightness and breathability where movement takes place.
Designed for Backpacks and Climbing Harnesses
The side pockets are positioned so that they remain accessible while wearing a backpack or climbing harness. Lycra® mesh panels expand the storage space and provide quick access to gloves or other essentials.
The seamless shoulder construction also supports use with a backpack. Fewer seams in pressure zones mean less friction and greater comfort on long tours.
Hood and Finishes for Alpine Reality
The close-fitting hood can be worn under a helmet and remains stable during movement. An elastic opening and reinforced shield ensure a secure fit and provide additional protection from wind and light precipitation.
Elastic Lycra® cuffs keep the sleeves securely in place and reduce shifting between inner and outer layers. This keeps the layering system clean and functional even during intense movement.
As a Midlayer or Standalone Outer Layer
Depending on the conditions, the NAGPURI can be used in different ways. As a breathable midlayer, it complements a shell in cold or changeable conditions. In drier weather, its wind- and water-repellent zones also allow it to function as a lightweight outer layer.
With its regular fit, it is designed for flexible layering while remaining close enough to the body for technical movement.
