The year 2023 ends with a highlight for our brand and our team: not only are we represented at ISPO (International Trade Fair for Sporting Goods and Sports Fashion) again this year, but we were also able to prevail against strong competition by winning three ISPO Awards. This prestigious award is a testament to the dedication of each and every employee at BLACKYAK.

ISPO is one of the most important platforms in the industry, where innovation, design and functionality take center stage. BLACKYAK has won a total of 29 ISPO Awards in the last eleven years.

ISPO Award 2023 for the BLACKYAK JAVARI GORE-TEX® 3L ACTIVE SHELL JACKET

The Bakosi G2 Hooded Hybrid Jacket stands out as high-performance outdoor equipment for a wide range of outdoor activities.

The Bakosi G2 Hooded Hybrid Jacket by BLACKYAK is a very special insulating jacket for all seasons that should not be missing on any mission in alpine terrain. In order to achieve optimum heat dissipation and unrestricted functionality, various high-quality components have been optimally used and installed. The outer material is made from extremely abrasion-resistant and very robust CORDURA® Rip Stop material. The chest area and upper arms of the jacket are filled with certified, water-repellent goose down. Warm G-LOFT® insulation has been integrated in the abdominal area and on the forearms, which keeps you warm even when wet and does not lose its shape.

The Bakosi G2 Hooded Hybrid Jacket focuses on comfort without compromising on performance. Two mesh pockets on the chest allow you to stow important items quickly and efficiently such as gloves or sunglasses. The helmet-compatible hood and the high collar with down filling and fleece at the chin ensure greater comfort and warmth. Elasticated cuffs optimize the fit.

An innovative element of this jacket is the use of Yak Merino Skin on the inside of the stretchy back section. This unique feature optimizes temperature regulation and minimizes sweating when wearing a backpack. This jacket is suitable for all seasons and a wide range of alpine activities. ISPO Award 2023 for the BLACKYAK THULAGI GTX® 3L PRO SHELL BIB PANTS

BLACKYAK has done everything possible to prioritize safety and durability with the Thulagi GTX 3L PRO Shell Bib Pant.

BLACKYAK's Thulagi GTX 3L PRO Shell Bib Pant is a prime example of what outdoor enthusiasts, professional mountaineers and ambitious amateurs need to make their adventures both exciting and safe. The Thulagi GTX 3L Pro Shell Bib Pant is made from highly breathable GORE-TEX® PRO 70D 3-layer fabric. This choice of material not only guarantees exceptional durability, but also offers outstanding wind and waterproofness. The Thulagi GTX 3L PRO Shell Bib Pant features a robust design with a higher-cut Cordura bib for comfort and maximum protection from the elements. It also features adjustable Velcro fasteners on the shoulders for a precise and comfortable fit. The thoughtful design extends to the mesh pockets on the front of the bib as well as the side pockets, which offer secure storage and are climbing harness compatible.

In addition, the left pocket is equipped with a leash for the avalanche transceiver. So, everything is always within reach on future adventures. For comfort and adaptability during outdoor activities, the THULAGI Pants have two-way ventilation zippers that can be fully opened at the bottom. This makes them comfortable to wear and helps regulate body temperature in different terrain and weather conditions.

Equipped with a Recco reflector for improved search and rescue functions, these pants offer adventurers additional safety. For durability, the Yak Ceramic Shield is designed to withstand damage from crampons or ski edges at the leg cuffs.
