In the latest episode of the BLACKYAK Made For Missions Podcast, Matthias Giraud, aka "Super Frenchie," talks with Daniel Ladurner, a farmer from South Tyrol who not only works in nature but also intensely experiences it in the mountains.
Daniel started climbing at the age of four and has since mastered some of the world's most challenging routes – from the Dolomites to Patagonia and Siberia. His preference for aesthetic climbing routes shows how deeply he appreciates the harmony between technique and nature.
The conversation covers the challenges of alpine climbing, his experiences with wingsuit flying and BASE jumping, as well as the balance between training and recovery. Especially fascinating: Daniel shares how he manages to combine farming and high-alpine climbing in his life.
With his ability to manage risks and stay mentally strong, Daniel is not only an inspiring alpinist but also a master of balancing different worlds.
